HOW DO THEY WORK
Dermal fillers work by replacing the hyaluronic acid that naturally exists in our body, which decreases over time as we age.
When injected into specific areas of the face, they help restore lost volume, improve shape, and reduce lines, giving a softer and more youthful appearance.
The dermal filler naturally dissolves as the body absorbs the HA, but results should last for 3 – 12 months, depending on the area injected.

CONSULTATION
Prior to the anti-wrinkle treatment Dr. Avani will consult with the patient on a treatment plan based on specific concerns. Dr. Avani will create a personalised treatment plan based on your facial anatomy and the areas you want to address. This will determine the amount of Botox needed, the injection sites & how often you will need to re-book treatments.

PROCEDURE
Your skin is firstly thoroughly cleaned & the areas to inject are marked. The treatment is administered through injections into the target area. The injections may cause mild discomfort.

RESULTS
The treatment will take up to 14 days to settle in. After 14 days you will have a complimentary review appointment with Dr. Avani.

DOWNTIME
There is minimal downtime, you can resume your daily activities immediately after your treatment. We do however recommend no intense exercise up to 24 hours post-treatment.
